Weather
Unlike the rest of Sri Lanka the region around Tangalle is mainly sunny and dry, with temperatures around 30° C. In June and November there will be an occasional rain, which most of the time only lasts one or two hours.

During the whole year fresh winds create a comfortable and pleasant climate.
