Entry into the country

It is the sole responsibility of the guest to adhere to all regulations concerning passports, customs, visas and necessary vaccinations.

Visa is required for all tourist. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of your entry into the country.


Arrival at Colombo Airport

If requested, we will personally collect you from the airport.

We will wait for you in the arrivals hall with a sign saying "Lucky Star Tangalle".
The direct transfer from Colombo airport to Tangalle in a mini-van with air-conditioning will take approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.
The cost of the transfer from the airport to Tangalle is approx. 110.00 Euro and the return transfer from Tangalle to the airport is also 110.00 Euro. Transfer costs are set by a private mini-van company and should be paid directly to them. The total cost can be divided between the number of passengers.

Please ask for the valid rate just before the date of travel.

How to find us

If you are arriving independently, follow the coastal road (A2) from Colombo to Tangalle (or Highway fom Colombo to Galle). At KM 193.4 the road turns to the right into the town of Goyambokka. Continue to the very top of the hill where you will find the Lucky Star.
